The Acting Out Playhouse believes
that the theatre helps to build life
skills. Language, problem solving,
critical thinking, team work, freeing
ones self, being in the moment and
trust are all part of the acting
process and part of life.

We provide a warm and safe
environment where children are
encouraged to be anything they
want to be, keeping true to
themselves.

Theatre Skills are taught through
storytelling bringing in the "Acting
for the New Millennium"approach,
by Ken Farmer. The Older students
are also introduced to many other
approaches, including but not
limited too, Me i sner and Method.
All skills are taught through age
appropriate theatre games, songs,
dance, scripts and improv.

The Children are given
opportunities to perform in
different venues and are exposed
to different genres.
An important part of the Acting Out
Playhouse curriculum is giving to
our community. The Children
perform for hospitals, special
events and fund raisers as the
need arises.
